BRRRR....!!!!
Well, Victoria Day weekend has come and gone and boy was it a fresh one! I think we packed everything except the kitchen sink AND...the camera :( , so busy packing winter coats and sleeping bags that the camera unfortunately was left at home. Saturday was beautiful, t-shirt and shorts weather, kids fished, we went on the wagon ride and we had a nice campfire (only had to wear sweats) dined on Smores...it was nice. At 11:30 the raindrops began to fall and then teemed so everybody turned in for the night. Sunday morning we awoke to a frigid trailer, thankfully the furnace fired up on the second try and we were warm as toast again. After church the kids begged to stay for the day (a forecasted high of 8 degrees that day) and so we dawned our winter coats, did some more fishing etc., and headed home Sunday night. Despite the cold, it was lots of fun, the fish were biting like crazy and it was so nice to see everyone from the camp again after a long winter. Hope to see you all in a couple of weeks and hopefully a couple of degrees warmer!
